Sportsmanship and Code of Conduct
The Ski Town Shoot Out is predicated on sportsmanship and camaraderie. According to one participating coach, “This tournament has a spirit and soul that makes it special.”

Celebrate the Creator’s game with us. In our opening ceremonies, players from each team participate in the “Running of the Balls”, building a multicolored lacrosse ball pyramid.
Each level of the pyramid represents the people involved in the game. The base is your teammates, followed by coaches, officials, opponents, and family.
Throughout the event, we ask all participants to instill in the players a sense of honor, respect, and appreciation for the roots of the game.

IMLAX and Ski Town's Sportsmanship and Inclusion Statement
Intermountain Lacrosse and US Lacrosse promote good sportsmanship by athletes, coaches and spectators. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating actions directed at officials, athletes, coaches, team representatives, or fans by any person will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition, and potentially participation in the shootout.

We ask you to let the coaches coach.  Let the players play.  Let the officials do their job and keep our athletes safe.   We encourage you to cheer loudly, proudly, and positively!

Intermountain Lacrosse seeks to foster a lacrosse community that encourages understanding, appreciation, and acceptance of all within its membership, volunteer base, and staff. Further, IMLAX believes that broad representation and participation add significant value to the lacrosse experience of each of us, and that these valued experiences are enhanced by embracing underrepresented and under-served communities.
